Stephen Edward Bunker

Stephen Edward Bunker was born August 25, 1943, in Longview, Washington, to William Edward Bunker and Margaret Ellen Packard Bunker.  He has one sister, Jan Marie Bunker, who was born October 31, 1955, a niece Torrance Toyanne Bunker (and children) and a nephew Jordan Bunker.  He was married September 5, 1969, to Carol Estelle Schermerhorn Bunker, daughter of Paul William Schermerhorn and Bernice Estelle Landguth Schermerhorn.  They have two sons, Timothy Stephen Bunker and Jason Earl Bunker, and one granddaughter, Laurelai Anne Bunker.

Steve served in the U.S. Air Force as a Russian linguist and airborne intelligence intercept operator and analyst.  He had an accounting degree and was a tax professional who was the manager of offices of H & R Block and performed other duties to give H & R Block and its clients the forms and procedures necessary to serve their customers during the various tax seasons.

Steve was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He was a High Priest and served as a Ward Clerk, Ward Executive Secretary, Ward Sunday School President, and a Stake and Ward Missionary, together with other callings for the Church.  Steve has gone ahead beyond the veil where he is now serving his Heavenly Father in the post-mortal existence. He is dearly missed by his family and friends.

Steve will be remembered at an informal reception for family and friends.
